Movies-n-Vacations

So, leslee and I went to San Francisco and had a total blast with our friends Maureen and Matt. Here's a link to some pics, I hope it works. We saw a bunch of art, interiors, exteriors and homeless guys, some of which even asked us for money. Seriously though, we had a really fun time. We went everywhere, including the unnofficial gayest corner on earth (according to our guidebook). It was very gay.

As far as movies I've watched, it's been a lot since the last time I blorgged, so I think I'm going to do a short film instead of a full length feature.

6 in. Golden Sandwich – this sandwich was served to you, with a ladies chin hair on it, at the track, in Bithlo, Florida.
1 Ft. Golden Sandwich – This was served to you, minus chin hair, at the track, in Bithlo, Florida.
2 Ft. Golden Sandwich – This sandwich was eaten somewhere really cold and lonely, like in the arctic, or something.
3 Ft. Golden Sandwich – This sandwich eaten in Chicago.
4 Ft. Golden Sandwich – This sandwich was eaten in New York City!
5 Ft. Golden Sandwich – You ate this sandwich in San Francisco, CA!!! (which is less smelly than New York City, and that makes it better)

Movies Watched:
35 UP, 42 UP
The Break Up
Mean Streets
Rififi
The Times of Harvey Milk
Marie Antionette
Heaven
Confederate State of America
Borat
Heavy Metal Parking Lot
Fail-Safe

35 Up, 42 Up:
These are more of the 7 Up series. Still very British.
4 Ft. 6 Inches of Golden Sandwich

I saw The Break-Up, with Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston, on a plane. So, it was kind of like Breaks on a Plane. Anyways, it kinda sucked, but when your on a plane, and your bored, you'll pretty much watch anything.
1 Ft. 6 Inches of Golden Sandwich

Mean Streets:
Early Scorsese. Rules.
4 Ft of Golden Sandwich

Rififi:
A totally sweet French film noir about a group of dudes robbing a safe. Loved it. You should watch it.
5 Ft of Golden Sandwich

The Times of Harvey Milk:
We watched this in anticipation of our trip to SF. Harvey Milk was the very first openly gay elected official. He was assassinated by a fellow Supervisor. It's an interesting story, but very sad.
3 Ft 6 Inches of Golden Sandwich

Marie Antionette:
It's pretty, with all the frilly ruffles and things.
3 ft. of Golden Sandwich

Heaven:
This came out a couple of years ago, and I totally missed it. It's directed by the guy who did 'Run Lola Run', and stars Giovanni Ribisi and Cate Blanchett. It's good.
4 Ft. of Golden Sandwich

Confederate States of America:
UNWATCHABLE
No Ft. of Golden Sandwich

Borat:
I won't say much about this, since so much has been said already. I went to go see this with my dad. There were a couple points where he was laughing so hard, I thought his windpipe was going to close up.
4 Ft. of Golden Sandwich

Heavy Metal Parking Lot:
Nothing makes me laugh like a big group of drunk teenagers waiting to see Judas Priest in 1986. It's too bad it's only 15 minutes long. Some of the extras are kinda lame.
3 Ft. 6 Inches of Golden Sandwich

Fail Safe (1964):
Watched this last night. Total cold war paranoia flick. It totally rules!! It's got Henry Fonda, J.R., and a very serious Walter Matthau. It still is very relevent to our current political climate.
